Ingredients: Dark Tea Loose Leaves

Product description:

Liu Bao Tea undergoes a unique post-fermentation process, contributing to its distinctive flavor and characteristics.

Fermentation Process:

Dark tea is post-fermented, meaning tea leaves undergo microbial fermentation after drying and rolling. This process introduces new chemical substances, resulting in the development of its unique flavor and aroma. The fermentation process is crucial in creating the rich and complex taste associated with dark tea.

Craftsmanship: The dark tea you have is crafted through a meticulous process involving four key steps:

Deactivation of Enzymes: This step halts enzymatic activity in the tea leaves.

Rolling: The leaves are rolled to shape and compact them.

Pile Fermentation: Tea leaves are piled together to undergo controlled fermentation.

Pine Wood Fire Drying: The final step involves drying the tea with the use of pine wood fire, contributing to its unique characteristics.

Appearance and Flavor Profile: The resulting dark tea is refreshing in appearance. The dried tea emits a unique and pleasant aroma. When brewed, the tea soup is delicious with a fresh like "Mushroom Soup", sweet taste, full-bodied, and featuring hints of sweetness and floral notes. The mouthfeel is calm and smooth, providing a soothing experience, especially when consumed hot.

Digestive Benefits: For those not sensitive to caffeine, dark tea is believed to aid digestion. Its properties make it an ideal choice for individuals seeking a tea that is gentle on the stomach.

Brewing Instructions: To extract the best flavors from your dark tea, follow these steps:

Preheat the tea pot or Gaiwan with boiling water.

Place about 1-2 teaspoons of dark tea in the pot or Gaiwan.

Open the lid slightly to smell the fragrance.

Pour a small amount of boiling water into the tea, then immediately pour it out. This helps dampen the tea leaves and initiates the steeping process.

Pour about 8 fluid ounces of boiling water (about 95-100ºC or 203-212ºF) into the tea pot or Gaiwan.

Cover the tea pot or Gaiwan, and after 1 minute, pour out the tea and enjoy
